Tempered Souls

“You won’t like me when I’m angry!”  Bruce Banner said through clenched teeth.  From the moment I read those words and then watched this scrawny scientist transform into a beast with green skin with muscles rippling over his entire body, I knew that this was my kind of superhero.  The Hulk is a beast that is unstoppable, possessing what seems to be an infinite amount of strength and endurance.  Now, the Hulk is a perfect example for a lesson on anger but I want to focus on a different aspect of this superhero in light of Romans 12:2 which says:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
